(James 4:6 tells us that, “God opposes the proud.” And this journal entry is a reflection on how that happens naturally in our lives.)
God could be sending people to bless you but because of your pride and fear of receiving from people, you’ve rejected help over and over. Yet you’re still praying for the same thing over and over, and getting upset with God that He has not delivered. This is how we oppose God with our pride. We are literally in opposition to His will for us; pushing away the very blessing He sent to respond to you.
This is upsetting to God because it’s giving Him a bad name, when He’s been nothing but God. But He’s such a merciful God, and wants to be bless us so much that He will then oppose you back to get you in line with the blessing. He will oppose your pride and arrogance by creating conflict and resistance in your life until you can surrender and receive the blessing. Don’t let it get so bad that you have to beg for the help. Accept it while it’s right in front of you.
Drop your pride. Accept help. Our ability to receive is what makes us feminine. So learn to receive help. God is answering your prayers through other people.
Don’t let the enemy win by convincing you everyone is just like the darts he threw your way in the past to trip you up. There are angels out here that God is using to bless you. It will shock you. Heal, surrender, open up and let Him in.
